Spend a lovely few hours at PETAL studio learning how to make and decorate your own stylish eco-friendly festive wreath...
We will be building a deliciously scented pine, eucalyptus and foliage base - on a copper wire frame. Giving a fresh take on a traditional wreath design with plenty of locally foraged ingredients (with advice on how and where to forage) and we will also incorporate stylish dried elements, branches, and touches of on-trend metallics.
The afternoon class will kick off with a demonstration from Abigail, and you will then be guided through designing your own wreath. Perfect for gifting, or adding to your own home to usher in the winter solstice.
These wreaths are eco-friendly, and can be deconstructed to be composted in the new year. We don't use oasis bases, as they are not biodegradable and are harmful to the environment, and your health. This means your wreath will dry naturally, so we will learn about what materials work best and look best for longest... the wreath pictured first, above, is still looking incredible, one year later!
Classes are limited to eight places. Delicious Christmassy sweet treats will be served, along with tea & coffee.
We can't wait to welcome you!
The class is on Thursday the 7th of December, and kicks off at 11am. The class will last approximately 3 hours, so will finish up around 2pm - though there's no rush, and you can take as long as you need to craft your masterpiece!
